Dan and his team launch their Fair Tips Campaign

Dan Lodge and his team launched a Fair Tips campaign on Saturday the 27th of September.  The campaign is to make sure that waiters and waitresses get the tips that have been left for them by customers, some employers will take a cut if a customer walks out without paying for example, and we think that this issue needs to be addressed.  Members of the public were asked to sign a petition which let employers know that when a tip is given it is intended for the employee who serves them.

Do you normally tip in a restaurant?

Do you normally leave a tip on a credit card. If so, were you aware that this money is then the legal property of the restaurant to dispose of as they wish?

Would you be more likely to leave a tip in cash from now on?

Do you agree that there should be an end to unfair tipping?
