moreMorden Development Campaign

moreMorden campaign in Morden High Street

For the last three weeks Dan and his team have been running a telephone bank talking to residents about the local council’s proposed moreMorden development of Morden High Street. We have been independently asking people what they would like to see changed about Morden, and encouraging people to register their views before the council’s consultation date passed (on the 10th of October).

The outcome of our research found that many residents would like the pavements widened near the bus stops and that the area could be de-cluttered by the removal of railings and bollards. The council are now looking into the options that they have available.

We’ll keep you updated with the changes that are being made as they happen. Please check back for more details.
